![]() NOTE: If you prefer your rice dish buttered, you can add butter to the water, and cook the rice with butter. Remove rice to a serving dish, and serve immediately. Remove the lid, and fluff Rice with a large spoon (don’t stir it). When Rice is done, and Pot has released pressure, beeps and goes to off, make sure the float valve button is down, and with a pot holder, carefully turn the pressure valve to VENTING, to make sure all pressure has been released. Allow the Instant Pot to automatically build and release the pressure. Press the Manual button, and set the time for 6 minutes. Place the lid on the Instant Pot until it beeps and locks. Make sure ingredients are in an even layer in the Instant Pot. Aĭd lime juice, black beans, salt and Cilantro, and stir well. Add the water to the Instant Pot and stir. Rinse the Jasmine Rice in a strainer, or sieve, with cold water, drain and add to the Instant Pot. Turn the Instant Pot to the SAUTE setting, and add the olive oil and garlic, and cook the garlic about 1 minute, and turn off the Instant Pot. ![]() It’s really simple and quick, and the Instant Pot cooks it perfectly.
